Matt is what we call a "chatterbox". He loves telling stories. If he gets your full attention....watch out. This most frequently happens in the car or at dinner. Last week on the way home from the farm he was talking so much that Luke actually said, "Matt, please stop! You are hurting my ears."
Dinner though is his prime time. A couple days ago he was going on and on about bad guys, monsters, who was in jail, Spider-Man, and a variety of other things that interest him. Terra and I were trying to have a conversation and would pick up each time Matt took a breath, but then he would keep going again, and again, and again. Finally this happened:
Terra: Matt, can it be my turn to talk?
Matt (without hesitation): Sure, if you want to talk about what I am talking about.
That is our Matt, never a dull moment.
He is also very into complimenting Terra, which she loves but this week it was not her favorite compliment.
Matt: Mom, you are really good at wiping butts.
Terra: Thank you.
Matt: And Mom you are really good at getting all the poop off, huh?
Here is a small sampling of Matt's stories from lunch today. From what we gathered a monster had woken up to his green clock and started fighting Matt.
